Waste Not Want Not
I feel something about this. I feel bad because being an American, other countries that have this kind of poverty dislike us because we always feel the need to jump in and “help the poor 3rd world people.” At the same time, countries and people are suffering because of poverty and I feel as though if we have an abundance of something, why not use our resources to help them get where they want to be? Being an African person it’s hard to ignore this issue. It’s not just about African countries. Lots of Asian countries have this problem too. I feel like it’s something that we can do but people just get distracted and forget.
